THE WHITE GRYPHON is a Boutique Style
Gallery containing, among other things, Jewelery, Retro-Mod
Clothing, various Precious Stones and Crystals,
and Sculpture created from driftwood, bone, stones, and
various metals. It is a family business located in the west end of the Greater
Woodstock Business District. It is run by David and Fiona
Saxman, and also is home to our menagerie of pets including the Cockatoos-in-residence,
a Dog, a few Rats, and our son, Gavin. |

An important feature within our store is, of course, FIONA!
Not only does she manage her eclectic selection of Clothing items, but she
features her Psychic Readings. Fiona has been amazing her clients for over
20 years both in America and England. Often using tarot Cards, she doesn't
interpert their meanings but uses them as a focus to explore the unseen world
around her Clients. She usually recieves messages and impressions from deceased
friends, relatives, and pets of her clintele. No-one leaves her reading room
without some new perspective of the world around them!
She will just as often be found doing a reading of the animal companions brought
to her by her customers. She is a devoted animal lover and will often be found
chasing down loose dogs wandering around the neighborhood, leash in hand. |
|
|
Counterpoint to Fiona is her husband, David. Dragonstone Dave has been creating
artistic works out of Sterling Silver, Driftwood, and Bone for many years.
His hanging sculptures are crusted with precious and semiprecious stones,
all designed to create a peaceful and cleansed environment.
When he isn't designing sculpture or jewelery, he can be found huddled
in the back room of the store creating 3D animations or editing his video
projects he has been shooting on his 3 chip DV camera. Before moving to
Woodstock early in 2006 with his family, he was a Technical Director and
3D modeller in a Manhattan animation studio. |
